Plain-language terms for using KnowledgeVault. Using the service means you accept them.

What this service is

KnowledgeVault is a personal knowledge management application: it stores links, notes, documents and tasks that you choose to save, and lets you organise, search, share and export them. It is operated independently at vault.intellectai.tech.

Your account

• You must provide a working email address and verify it before signing in.
• You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
• One person per account. Do not share credentials.
• You must be legally able to enter into these terms in your jurisdiction.

Your content is yours

You keep all rights to what you save. Storing content here grants the service no ownership of it and no licence to use it beyond operating the service for you — that is, storing it, indexing it so you can search it, and displaying it back to you. You can export everything at any time.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use KnowledgeVault to:

• Store or publish unlawful content, or content that infringes someone else’s rights.
• Publish public collections containing malware, phishing pages, or deceptive material.
• Attempt to gain access to another user’s workspace or to the underlying server.
• Probe, scan or overload the service, or attempt to disrupt it for others.
• Resell or redistribute the service as your own.

Accounts used for phishing, malware distribution or other abuse may be suspended without notice. If you find content hosted here that breaches these terms, please report it using the contact address below.

Public collections

If you publish a collection, you are making that content readable by anyone with the link, and you are responsible for what it contains. You can unpublish at any time.

Availability and data

The service is provided on a best-effort basis. It may be unavailable during maintenance or because of faults. While backups are taken, you should keep your own exports of anything you cannot afford to lose — the export and full-backup features exist for exactly this purpose.

No warranty

KnowledgeVault is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. The operator does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data loss will never occur.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the service.

Ending your use

You may stop using the service at any time and export your data before you do. The operator may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, or discontinue the service, giving reasonable notice where practical.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
