What it does

KnowledgeVault is a personal knowledge management tool. It stores links, notes, documents, topics and tasks in one searchable place, so that the useful thing you found six months ago is still findable today. It is built around a few ideas:

• Search first. One box, instant results, no digging through folder trees.
• Import what you already have. Browser bookmarks come in with one upload and are organised into topics automatically.
• Private by default. Nothing is public unless you deliberately publish it.
• No lock-in. Export everything as portable JSON, or take a full backup including attachments, whenever you want.

Who operates it

KnowledgeVault is run independently by a single operator, on a private server, as a personal project rather than a venture-backed product. There is no company behind it, no advertising model, and no data resale — the whole point is that it is a place to keep your own material.

It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google LLC or any other company. Where the app offers “Continue with Google”, that is Google’s standard OAuth sign-in used with permission of the account holder; KnowledgeVault never sees your Google password.

How your data is handled

Briefly: your content is private, there are no trackers, and you can export or delete it at any time. The Privacy Policy sets out precisely what is stored and why, and the Terms of Service cover the rules of use.
